Full payment is due on delivery and must be paid in cash unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in advance.  We only accept checks from businesses and organizations.

Rental Charges

 

Our rental charges are for time out, not time used so make your selections carefully.  Rates quoted are for single use (one occasion) daily rentals unless otherwise noted.   Items rented for Saturday or Sunday use are delivered Friday or Saturday and usually are picked up Monday.  If you require the use of the rental items for longer than 48 hours call for our long term rental rates.  We DO NOT provide any refunds for unused rental equipment.

We encourage you to make your reservation well in advance (90 days or more) to ensure equipment availability for your event date.

Delivery

 

When providing our customers with a delivery time it is our general estimate and may vary by one to three hours depending on other deliveries, traffic, etc.  In an effort to provide the highest quality service to our customer we will do our very best to contact you if your delivery will be late arriving at your location.

 

Deliveries are made to the single closest location or ground level drop off point (door, garage, dock, etc.) that is accessible to our truck.  We will place the rental equipment in your desired location for a nominal fee if arrangements have been made in advance.  Rental equipment will be placed in one designated place and must be returned to the same location for pick-up.

 

Equipment delivered to businesses, schools, churches, etc. will be dropped off outside or just inside the entrance of a building pending any staircases, obstacles, etc. We will place the rental equipment in your desired location for a nominal fee if arrangements have been made in advance. 

 

We double count each order to avoid the possibility of mistakes.  Upon delivery we ask that you check and count all items with the delivery person to ensure your order is correct.  When taking possession you are accepting the count on the contract and are fully responsible and identification will be required from the individual signing for delivery.

 

It is up to our discretion to apply additional charges for last minute deliveries or pick-ups.

Unreasonable Delays

 

We strive to provide the highest quality customer service to all of our customers, however, when we schedule delivery or pick-up at your site and our driver must wait for an unreasonable period of time we charge for each quarter hour (15 minute intervals) of downtime at an hourly rate of $60.00 to cover our cost of driver / equipment downtime.

Set-up and Take-down

 

Unless arrangements have been made previous to delivery or pick-up we do not set-up nor take-down tables and chairs.  We will provide this service for a nominal fee if arrangements have been made in advance.

Late Charges

 

Late charges will be imposed to the rental invoice at the regular daily rental rate to customers who do not make themselves available during the scheduled equipment pickup time.

Equipment Pick-up

 

When providing our customers with a pick-up time it is our general estimate and may vary by one to three hours depending on other deliveries, traffic, etc.  In an effort to provide the highest quality service to our customer we will do our very best to contact you if we will be late arriving at your location for pick-up.

 

Rental equipment must be returned to same location where it was placed upon delivery.  Equipment must be stacked neatly, clean, and ready for pick-up.  A $25.00 labor charge will be applied for any delays due to equipment not returned to delivery point, tables & chairs not folded and stacked, removing tape / debris, or the return of excessively dirty equipment.

 

The customer is responsible for rental items from the time of delivery until time the equipment is picked up, counted, and is checked in by our driver.

Lost / Damage

 

Lost, Damaged, or Broken items will be charged to the customer at the full product replacement value.  We double count each order to avoid the possibility of mistakes.  Upon delivery we ask that you check and count all items with the delivery person to ensure your order is correct.  When taking possession you are accepting the count on the contract and are fully responsible.

 

All rental equipment should be used appropriately as any prudent individual would use there own property.   Tables and chairs are not to be used as ladders or stepping stools.

Security / Weather Protection

 

Responsibility for the rental equipment remains with the customer from the time of delivery to the time equipment is picked up, counted, and checked in by our driver.  Please be sure rented items are secured when not in use and protected from the weather.

Tents

 

Rental quotes include set-up and take-down of tents on lawns or soft surfaces.  Additional charges may apply for set-up on concrete, asphalt, or other surfaces.  Some site locations may require a free site inspection to determine your requirements for some tents.   The customer is responsible for permits, event insurance, and any other associated fees. 

 

Most tents require some type of anchoring system, many require several large stakes to be driven into the ground.  It is the customers’ responsibility to contact Miss Dig (1-800-482-7171) 7-10 days prior to the scheduled tent setup date to ensure set-up space is clear of underground obstructions.  Damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, etc. is not the responsibility of the rental company.
